Setting Myself on Fire with You

I want to set myself on fire with you, for your flame to touch my flame. I want the blaze of two honest bodies, I want it red-hot with you, I want you pulsing. I want the sacred vertigo of burning with you, of melting together in a fire that reason cannot put out. I didn't come to temper what's wild, I came to celebrate it. And if you're going to touch me, let it be with flames. And if you're going to love me, let it be with all the intensity of someone who wants to be left with nothing. Let the flames burn my senses, let no corner of me remain unawakened. Let the fire hold nothing back. I didn't come to fear the heat, I came to offer my whole self to the rite of fire, to let myself come undone in every kiss that consumes, in every word that sets the soul on fire. Let the flames rob me of reason, let the whisper of your name leave my mouth as I give myself to the sea like a wave.
